I'm excited to announce that I co-authored a new book, The Financial Storm Warning for Investors: How to Prepare and Protect Your Wealth from Tax Hikes and Market Crashes, with Dr. Jeffrey Camarda and Jerusha Lee!
As the title suggests, this book places several risks on the investor's radar and explains how to avoid substantial financial losses due to these perils. The work consists of two parts. Part I describes several hazards to your wealth including inflation, taxes, various economic pressures, financial advisor counterparty risk, and more. Part II delves into strategies within the major areas of financial planning (asset protection, legacy planning, investments/retirement, etc.) to help protect you, the consumer.
We started writing this book nearly one year ago. There is a tremendous time commitment involved to writing longer academic works like a book. Plus, this was a first for our group, so the learning curve was fairly steep. Next time, the process should move more quickly.
